I read this fantastic article on the RELEVANT magazine website today, and thought it was worthy of sharing here. 

In my experience, having seen at least a hundred marriages begin, I can vouch for the negative effect our "perfectionist" culture has put on relationships. Thankfully, I am lucky that the vast majority of couples I get to work for are ones who have a realistic, genuine love for the other person- flaws and all. :)
