Monday, May 30, 2011 at 5:15PM I traveled to the DFW area to photograph Hunter and Shannon's big day a few weeks go. It was held at Colleyville Center in Colleyville, TX. This was a unusual wedding for me because I'd never actually met Hunter and Shannon in person- we'd always corresponded via email or phone. Once I got to be around them, though, I wished I had more time with them! These two are super genuine, loving people who were so much fun to work with. Shannon and her Mom created many of the details, and the message during the ceremony might just have been my favorite ever. On to the photos- here is just a taste of their day!

Hunter requested a photo of him fishing- so we made it happen!
Each groomsman and bridesmaid had a different brooch or pin, which Shannon scavenged from thrift and antique stores.
The ceremony began just as the sun began to set. Perfect light!
Hunter and Shannon were the first I've seen to have a unity cross. It separates into two pieces- the outer and inner cross, and had some beautiful symbolism for husband and wife, and Christ and the church.
